Founded on April 17, 2023, Metro Top Gear Melbourne (MTGM) was created to unite and represent Melbourne’s elite Initial D THE ARCADE players. What began as a passion project among competitive drivers has evolved into a growing community focused on excellence, education, and expanding the game’s reach in Melbourne and Australia as a whole.
Our Mission
We are dedicated to developing high-level skills and fostering a strong community around Initial D THE ARCADE. MTGM serves as both a platform for seasoned players and a training ground for newcomers aspiring to become top competitors.
What We Do
We actively scout for the best Initial D THE ARCADE players across Melbourne and beyond —while also offering guidance and training to those eager to level up their game. As champions of a niche yet passionate scene, our goal is to break down barriers in skill, language, and game knowledge, making the game more accessible and enjoyable for all.
Community & Events
MTGM is proud to host the seasonal KING OF TOUGE tournaments in collaboration with local arcade communities and B. Lucky & Sons Melbourne Central. These events bring together players from all over to compete, connect, and celebrate their shared love for drifting and arcade racing.
